Windsor Library event, 18th November

I can't think of a nicer way to celebrate the launch of The Queen Who Came In From the Cold than by visiting the library in the shadow of Windsor Castle, in joint celebration of its 30th birthday.

Actually, I can think of *one* thing that would make it even better - and that's to be in conversation with a longstanding reader of the series, now a friend, who knows the castle better than I do, having shown visitors round for several years.

Luckily for me, Sandra Baker has agreed to join me for the event, and we'll be talking about Queen Elizabeth II as a real and fictional person, some of our anecdotes about castle and palace life, and the newest addition to the series, which is out next month..
