The Queen Who Came In From the Cold is out!

The best thing about launching THE QUEEN WHO CAME IN FROM THE COLD over the last few weeks has been the chance to connect with new and old readers, to spend time with friends as I travel the country, and to see busy booksellers and librarians enthusiastically at work as the Christmas season gets going.

Followers of my Instagram and Facebook accounts will have been able to track my travels around central London, to Kings Lynn (near the Sandringham estate), to Windsor (where lots of people who work at the castle came to hear me talk - a demanding audience if ever there was one), and to Kew Gardens, near the National Archives - where I like to imagine that a secret account of the Queen’s investigative abilities might be stored.

I need to thank Gitte Hart for her photography, Marion Coleman and Donna Rodrigues for their kind invitations, Sandra Baker for her great interviewing skills, and all the booksellers, librarians, readers and reviewers who’ve come along and been amazing. And of course, the team at Bonnier Books for making such a beautiful hardback in the first place, and for getting the ever-wonderful Samantha Bond to read the audiobook with as much panache as ever. Check out her reviews on Audible. They’re wonderful!

Now, at last, I’m safely tucked up at home as the frosty weather hits, working on the next-but-one book in the series! I might not be back on this page for a little while, so, in advance, Happy Christmas everyone.
